A Teacher Training that’s not just for teachers
Purpose and Tradition
Our goal is to help you find the inner teacher and radiant personality that are uniquely yours. Our course is inspiring, uplifting, fun and follows the true purpose of this heart-opening work – to give you the tools to live your happiest life possible, be of service and help shape a society based in love and compassion. We are so very proud of our program, now entering its ninth year. It is truly an in-depth master teaching that can transform you and your knowledge of this healing art. Not just about the asanas, we delve into philosophy and spirituality and yoga therapy. Any level can benefit, from gentle to intense. Based in the tradition of Para Yoga and the teachings of Rod Stryker and Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, with influences from Mukunda Stiles, Shiva Rea, Erich Schiffmann and more, our training is comprehensive, thorough and of the highest standard. We offer a smaller, intimate setting, and each candidate receives generous amounts of attention from, and spends valuable time with, the teachers. We would truly love to guide you on a journey of a lifetime.

“This was such an amazing training program! I did a good amount of research on RYS’s in the area, and Yoga Madre had the most extensive program I could find, offering just as much in philosophy as it had to offer in the education of the physical practice.” -Brian Levine
“The teachings were extremely professional, precise, and covered anatomy, history, philosophy, asana, pranayama, ayurveda, sequencing, adjustments, and many other topics that made me confident to begin as a teacher. I was amazed by the knowledge and the great ability to pass down the knowledge in a friendly, supportive and small-sized group which allowed for a lot of one on one time with teachers.”
