Class Descriptions

A 1-hour class of gentle stretching exercises and breath work combined with relaxation, all at a slower pace.   This is a perfect class for beginners, those in need of stress-reduction, and those who may have limited mobility.

A class for all students new to yoga or checking in with the basics. Focus is on breath, fundamental poses and vocabulary. While classes will usually be somewhat challenging physically, they are taught at a slower pace, with detailed explanations of alignment and a focus on practicing the poses correctly. No experience or flexibility is needed.

Mixed Levels:
This class is suitable for students with some prior experience. Focus will be on building strength and flexibility. There will also be more advanced breathing and meditation techniques. As appropriate, deepen your practice by exploring more challenging poses such as backbends, arm balances and inversions.

Restorative Yoga:
The Art of Doing Nothing. Deeply opening poses, held for several minutes with the use of props. Emphasis is on breathing, healing and letting go.
