Yoga Madre's Advanced Studies I (a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification that's not just for teachers) Starts January 25, 2013 1 weekend a month for 10 months. Note: While some teacher training programs offer you a certificate with only half the teaching hours, this program includes 200 actual teaching hours, including in-depth coverage of anatomy.

Yoga Madre offers a 200-hour Yoga Teacher certification. This course is a comprehensive, classical and Tantric approach to Hatha Yoga. Led by René Quenell, with assistance by Mallory Leitner and Mike Nalick, this training is designed so that you will be able to teach. While ideal for new and aspiring teachers, those students seeking to deepen their practice are encouraged to take this course. With more than 10 years of teaching experience, René has a wealth of knowledge to share in the classical yoga tradition and the business of yoga. The class will help you find your own unique voice so that you can pass along this ancient tradition with confidence and grace. Classes will take place on the weekends. During the program students are encouraged to attend yoga classes on a regular basis. In order to encourage you in your on-going practice while in the Yoga Madre Teacher Training we are offering you the following: 1 Free 20 class series and 30% off subsequent 20 class series during the training. SPRING 2013 - 300-HR TEACHER TRAINING - STARTS MARCH 8
NEW - Advanced Studies II Continuing Education RYT 500 Yoga Madre's 300-hour Teacher Certification (for those who have completed a prior 200-hour certification) Begins March 8, 2013 15-month format, individual pacing available Includes one-on-one mentoring, attendance at mentor's classes, and free admission to all Yoga Madre workshops during the program.
Transform yourself through the study of the advanced practices of kriya, pranayama and meditation. Learn the art of advanced sequencing. Revive your teaching style and bring a richness to your students. Prepare to teach private yoga sessions, prescriptive yoga and yoga therapy. Must have completed a 200-hr program prior. No bridge program required (upon approval of prior program). Training takes place one weekend per month for a total of 15 months. Weekend schedule will be Friday 6pm-10pm, and Saturday & Sunday 9am-5pm.
