In Hope’s own journey of accepting her body’s changes in the last ten years,
she committed to deepening her yoga practice and spiritual consciousness by
obtaining her 200-hr RYT certification. She especially felt the calling to
teach women experiencing discomforting menopausal symptoms. Hope believes
meditation and vinyasa krama, a correctly organized sequence of asana
postures, can help women reduce joint pain, alleviate anxiety, and manage
heavier or changing menses, as well as the emotional upheaval of the post
Certified in the Hatha Yoga tradition, Hope also brings an Iyengar flavoring
to her classes by incorporating restorative poses. Her style of teaching is
humorous and compassionate.
